I fixed a few bugs with the site, including an unresolved issue with spike detection and removal that was preventing valid player counts during RS server maintenance.
I also fixed a Hiscores bug to reflect when data was last updated. The code was hung on "Refreshing...".
In other news, the AI slop chart on the Indonesian gambling site, MisplacedItems, has been removed, and the site has been delisted from Google as a RuneScape site. This is a victory for all who want accurate RuneScape data.
I also started a second project called scape.watch. It's a downtime tracker and also provides an RS name search. It mirrors a site that previously had this functionality, but that site changed its direction into being an ad for—and I kid you not—Spotify.
On scape.watch, you can see common RuneScape sites and services and their latency or downtime, but you can also check an RS name across different sources to see if that name exists in those sources. It's a good tool for finding where your RS name shows up, but also whether a name you're interested in may be available.
Please contact me if there are valid sources that should be added to this list.
scape.watch does not save searches to a database.
I also want to say thank you to all the people who have been using the site. It's kind of crazy to see over 100 people using this per day, and to see so many good posts on Reddit using my site or my analysis in the community. I'm seeing a number of posts getting well over 300 upvotes, and I just wanted to say that's very encouraging to me.
Thank you.
